An interview with Alina Zheleznyakova on a passionate love of people, work and veterinary community

Alina Zheleznyakova is an energetic and passionate marketing professional in the veterinary industry. Growing up, she had aspirations of becoming a poet, but her mother discouraged this path due to concerns about financial stability. Instead, Alina pursued a degree in linguistics and international communications, which ultimately paved the way for her career. Alina secured a position at NationWide Laboratories, where she has thrived, progressing from customer marketing manager to head of marketing and communications. She shares a deep love for science, creativity, and the veterinary community, highlighting the importance of compassion and effective communication in her work. Her dedication was recognised with an award at the Veterinary Marketing Awards for a campaign that celebrated teamwork and shared passion for animal welfare.
Alina values the relationships she has built in her new environment, actively engaging with her colleagues and nurturing a sense of community. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, reading, and staying active through running. Looking to the future, Alina embraces curiosity and passion, believing in the importance of adapting to change rather than adhering to rigid plans. She describes herself as driven by a desire to learn and make meaningful contributions, embodying a vibrant spirit that resonates throughout her professional and personal life.
